This weekend has been quite slow and unproductive programming wise. Some discouraging news and turn of things has slowed my pace considerably. I won't give up though; Winners Never Quit!!!

Still learning the various concepts that makes up react (props, state, components, virtual dom, import, destructuring among others.). I could not do much coding/learning today due to other commitments that came up. Its gonna be a long journey.

I'm making considerable progress in the React lesson so far. The concepts are getting clearer with each video I watch. Many more react days ahead.

Still on the almighty React. The create-react-app process was finally successful and it was a huge relief. I continued with the tutorial videos from the ZTM course. I'm dedicating the whole of this week to learning react.

In order to keep up with the daily commit on github, I also made some design modification and code review on the Zadok gym website. Slow and Steady Wins The Race

Day 53

It has been react all the way and the main challenge I'm having now is finding a way to quickly create the sample react file. The lowest time based on my experiment is abt 15mins and even getting it to work after that has been an herculean task. I hope to resolve it by tomorrow

I also did some work on the Zadok gym website (created a contact us section and added a script file for more Javascript effects)

I made little progress with regards to this. I went through the introduction and began a little project to practice what is being taught. I'll spend a couple of days on this in order to fully understand it once and for all. Its gonna be a long journey though.

I finally moved to React today after so much delays. The introductory part was completed and I hope to complete this section latest next week friday.

Moving to the 30days Javascript challenge, I completed the final project today and it was an awesome experience all through. I learnt a host of new things and my problem solving skills has improved considerably. I'm looking forward to tackling the next challenge which is React.

Day 50

18. NPM + NPM Scripts

This 30days challenge project is taking more of my time and making me fall behind schedule with regards to the ZTM course. I'll try as much as possible to complete it today. I somehow fell asleep yesternight (which is strange) and couldn't get to finish it during the day.

Work continued on the second project for day 30. I was engaged in some other activities during the day and had little time to work on it. The project will be completed tomorrow (that's the deadline I'm setting for myself).

I'll also resume my ZTM Course tomorrow as well

My plan was to move to react by today, however the 30days Javascript projects took the whole time I have for coding today. I'm currently doing the last project and it has been a rewarding and enlightening process so far. I'll be shuttling the two for the rest of the week till I'm done with the challenge.

I'm currently working on Day 29 project and the implementation of the tasks looks tricky. There are four major sections (changing background color, individual text color, font-type and font-size). I've successfully done 1 out of the 4. Once the logic is unlocked, the remaining three will be a walk in the park.

Badminton took the whole of my late morning/afternoon. I have not trained in about two weeks and today's training was tough. I was completely exhausted by the time I finished.

I had a breakthrough on Day 28 project and I'm currently putting finishing touches to it (UI optimization). I'll be moving fully to Day 29 tomorrow.

I was pretty occupied with work today and had very little time for coding. I could only make little progress on Day 28 Project of the 30days challenge. All is well

The NPM section was completed today. As it stands, I'm 65% done with the ZTM course. I'll be moving to React by next week and this weekend will be dedicated to doing revision and working on the remaining projects of the 30days Javascript challenge. I'm currently on day 28

Still on still, NPM (Node Package Manager). I've not been able to give maximum attention to ZTM because of the projects I'm working on. I'm currently on Day 28 and have 2 more days to go. I'm giving myself a target of weekend to complete all the projects. All is well.

The 30days Javascript challenge is still on course. Day 26 project is 90% done. i'm just left with some UI modification and input validation (special characters).

I watched the introductory videos on NPM. I need to spend quality time in this section to fully grasp the concept.

I began the project for Day 26 of the 30days challenge today. It looks complex at a first glance but I believe I'll make a headway in no time. Little drops of water makes an ocean

Same as yesterday with respect to the ZTM course. I'll be moving to NPM and NPM scripts tomorrow.

However, I made significant progress in the project for Day 25 of the 30days challenge. Part of the task requires learning something completely new (creating charts) and it is not in the syllabus. I therefore have to do a little bit of reading on that to enable me complete the project.

So far so good its been amazing.

Still in revision mode for ZTM course. I'll have to face my fears next week!!!

Progress is being made with regards to the 30days Javascript challenge. I completed Day 24 today and it has been amazing to say the least. I have 5 more days to go.

Day 38

I completed this section of the ZTM course today and this will round up my revision/review of past materials. I will move into the backend section from next week. The upcoming weekend will be dedicated to solving more problems and fine-tuning previous projects.

I also made progress with regards to the 30days Javascript challenge. I'm currently on the project for Day 24. I has been an amazing journey so far.

Moved to this section today and I'm 70% done with it. I'll practice more on it tomorrow as well.

The 30days Javascript challenge is also progressing. I completed the projects in Day 23.

15. Developer Environment

Still on this chapter. I'm doing some revision on what I've learnt so far.

I'm also rounding up on project 3 of Day 22 in the 30days Javascript challenge. Its been interesting, enlightening and awesome so far. I'm learning new things as the day goes by.

This section is a refresher on what I've been doing so far and I completed it today.

Creating a collapsible div on project 3 has been a challenge I didn't foresee. I'm not getting the desired result coupled with having little time to work on it. I'll try as much as possible to crack it tomorrow.

I moved to this new section today and also continued working on project 3 of Day 22 in the challenge. Building stuffs has helped in refreshing my memory and also made me apply a variety of tools that I've been learning on so far. I'm 90% done on project 33 and I should move to Day 23 tomorrow.

Similar to yesterday. I'm still working on project 3 of Day 22 in the 30days Javascript challenge. ZTM will have to wait till tomorrow.

14. Command Line.

I finally moved away from Advanced Javascript to Command Line today. I completed the video and did some practice on it. The "weekend factor" is still at work and I couldn't do much coding related activity all through the day. Tomorrow ought to be better though.

I'm still on Project 3 of Day 22 challenge in the 30days programme. I'll complete the remaining modules/project before the end of the month.
